    Description

We will join forces with Date in the Diary on Sunday June 22nd 3-5pm and Thursday 14th August 6.30 to 8.30pm . 40 & 50's s

ingle men and woman are welcome to join in this rivery fun!

Who knows what can happen on the water! One thing we can promise, it will be a social, fun and active experience.

It's £40 if you have your own equipment and another £15 if you you need to hire equipment from us. Please for the sake of £15 don't borrow equipment as it takes time and experience to pump up and its much easier if you are not familiar with someone's board to use ours- as they are already to go and we can match your height and weight to a specific board. If you have a new board and you are a newbie - can you book our equipment , it is much easier for all of us, unless you want to book a SUP Starter before you go out in a group then use this link .

Those who bring their own board will pump up in carpark and launch from the lock cut opposite the Boulter Lock car park and paddle round to Ray Mill Island. Those who have booked a board will meet on the island to be kitted up and we will launch together. You can bring your own board round earlier to pump up if you prefer.

Please leave at least 45 minutes if you are bringing your own board to park and get ready and 30 minutes if you hiring our equipment to park and walk over.

Date in the Diary www.dateinthediary.com who specialise in creating events and experiences based on interests and passions exclusively for singles.

We will take you on one of our favourite stretches of the river as we paddle towards the National Trust land of Cliveden and the notorious Spring Cottage.

We can't guarantee to have equal ratio men to woman but we can guarantee that your paddleboarding skills will improve so you look extra cool next time you go out for a paddle and you will have a really fun time on the river.

Their is an option to have a drink and or food at the Boathouse at Boulters Lock après paddle!

Your email and phone details will be shared with Lisa from http://www.dateinthediary.com/ as she will need to contact you for a few more details. If you have any questions feel free to contact Lisa directly.

In light of recent press coverage of water quality of the Thames,

we are part of a local river watch group to assess E.coli levels- Link to test results. Weekly tests show levels generally considered to be safe (less than a count of 100) and the results are actually in the "good" category for bathing water based on the Environmental Agency criteria. At present wild swimmers are enjoying this stretch of the Thames most days!

    Requirements

You will receive an email immediately after booking. The waiver attached to the email must be signed to complete your booking. Don't forget to check your spam and junk folders.

    What to bring

On arrival we will kit you up; water shoes, buoyancy aid, board, paddle & leash. If you are bringing your own equipment please arrive much earlier and be ready for the briefing at the set time. You can leave your phone and valuables in the car or give you a dry bag to take with you. https://www.paddleboardmaidenhead.uk/need-to-know

    Itinerary

Once we are ready to paddle and had the briefing, we will paddle up the River Thames towards Cliveden and then return back to where we started. https://www.paddleboardmaidenhead.uk/need-to-know
