SEND Slip & Slide Session – Booking Information

You are booking a 1-hour SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities) Slip & Slide Session at our 426.5ft Mega Slip and Slide, located near Wimborne, just off the A31 (near the Coventry Arms).

What’s Included:

1. Access to the full 426.5ft slide
2. Use of single and double rings, and where available, bodyboards
3. Spectators attend free – only participants (“Sliders”) need to pay

Booking Structure:

This is a limited numbers session designed to provide a calmer, more accessible experience. The following structure applies:

1. 1 x SEND Slider – £13.80
2. 1 x Free Carer – Must have relevant accreditation
3. Up to 2 x Siblings – £13.80 each

Please Note:

1. This session is designed with SEND families in mind. We are unable to police the validity of bookings and rely on the honesty and thoughtfulness of participants to book within the above structure.
2. All standard terms of use and safety rules apply.

Important Notes:

1. Session Timing: Your session will start at 10 minutes to the hour, so if you book the 3pm your session will start at 2.50pm, your session is inclusive of your safety briefing. The final slide will be called after 50 minutes to ensure punctuality for the following session.
2. Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your session for check-in, changing, and the mandatory safety briefing. Participation will not be allowed without attending a briefing.
3. Traffic & Travel: Allow additional time for summer traffic as we cannot be held responsible for delays.

Dogs at the Site

We love dogs too but safety and compliance come first.

Due to our licensing and insurance requirements, dogs are not permitted anywhere on site.

Our locations are close to busy roads and active slip and slide zones, and even well-behaved dogs can pose a risk to themselves and others. For this reason, dogs must not be brought on site at all, even on a lead.

Assistance dogs are permitted , but must:

1. Be clearly identified
2. Stay on a lead
3. Be supervised at all times
4. Remain away from the slide, pool, and walkways

Cancellation policy

Please Note:

All participants must:

1. Be aged 4 years and over
2. Be confident in and around shallow water
3. Be supervised by an adult at all times if aged 17 or under
4. Be able to walk up the staircase independently, or have appropriate assistance
5. Wear a wetsuit if body sliding (no board or ring)
6. Weigh no more than 19 stone (120kg)
7. Be no taller than 6ft 6in (198cm)
8. Wear suitable footwear (grip socks, wetsuit boots, beach/swim shoes — no trainers)

Please note: sessions start 10 minutes before your booked time with a mandatory group safety briefing. The final slide is called one hour after the start of the safety briefing.

Weather & Safety

1. The facility remains operational in the rain—participants will get wet regardless.
2. Operations will cease in the event of strong winds, thunder, or lightning.
3. If we need to pause or close the slide due to weather, it will be done for safety reasons, sometimes at short notice.
4. Check our Facebook page or answerphone before traveling as weather conditions may vary from your location.
5. If we cancel your session, you will receive an email to reschedule or request a refund.
6. If no cancellation communication is received, assume your session will proceed as scheduled and travel to the site accordingly.

Cancellation policy

Clothing:

1. You can wear any bathing, beach, or sportswear item as long as they don’t have any exposed rivets, studs, or zips.

Footwear:

1. You must wear non-slip foot covering on the slide. Grip socks, trampolining socks, beach/wet shoes, or wetsuit boots are permitted. We do not permit trainers, tennis shoes, or any other type of footwear except the aforementioned types.

Eyewear:

1. Eyewear is only worn at your own risk. If you need to use them to see, we insist they are secured with a glasses band. We cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, or injury.

Safety Advisory:

1. Please note there is a risk of friction burns, so we advise all riders to cover up exposed skin (except swim shoes and wetsuit boots).
2. All jewellery must be removed, and earrings covered with a waterproof plaster.

Session Protocol:

1. 10 minutes before the start of any session, there will be a safety brief.
2. The last slide is called 10 minutes before the session completes to ensure the next session starts on time.
