Public Slip & Slide Session – Nr. Wimborne
Session Information:
You are booking a 1-hour Public Slip & Slide Session at our 426.5ft Slip and Slide in Near Wimborne (off the A31, near the Coventry Arms). The session price includes the use of both single and double rings and where available, bodyboards. Spectators may attend free of charge—only participants (Sliders) need to pay.
Important Notes:
- Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your session for check-in, changing, and the mandatory safety briefing. Participation will not be allowed without attending this briefing.
- Session Timing: The final slide will be called after 50 minutes to ensure punctuality for the following session.
- Traffic & Travel: Allow additional time for summer traffic as we cannot be held responsible for delays.
Dogs
The A31 is a very busy and fast road so ensure your dog is supervised and kept securely on a lead at all times.
- Always Supervised and remains on a lead at all times.
- Have any mess cleaned up immediately.
Exclusive Use
We do not offer exclusive use of the Slip & Slide in August. However, limited availability for large groups (80+ people) in July may be possible. For more information, please contact Clare at: info@bourneevents.com.
Birthday Parties
We welcome you to celebrate your birthday with us. Although we do not offer exclusive sessions, you can join a public session by following the standard booking procedure.
Weather & Safety
- The facility remains operational in the rain—participants will get wet regardless.
- Operations will cease in the event of strong winds, thunder, or lightning.
- If we need to pause or close the slide due to weather, it will be done for safety reasons, sometimes at short notice.
- Check our Facebook page or answerphone before traveling as weather conditions may vary from your location.
- If we cancel your session, you will receive an email to reschedule or request a refund.
- If no cancellation communication is received, assume your session will proceed as scheduled and travel to the site accordingly.

Requirements
Participant Requirements:
- All participants must be 4 years old and over.
- All participants must be confident in and around water.
- Children aged 17 years and under must be always supervised by an adult whilst on site.
- All ‘Sliders’ need to be able to walk up a staircase or have personal assistance to help access the slide.
Site Regulations:
- Well-behaved dogs are more than welcome on site. Please keep them on a lead and clean up any mess.
- Picnics are welcome, but please take all your litter home.
- We do not allow smoking, vaping, or alcohol on site.
What to bring
Clothing:
- You can wear any bathing, beach, or sportswear item as long as they don’t have any exposed rivets, studs, or zips.
Footwear:
- You must wear non-slip foot covering on the slide. Grip socks, trampolining socks, beach/wet shoes, or wetsuit boots are permitted. We do not permit trainers, tennis shoes, or any other type of footwear except the aforementioned types.
Eyewear:
- Eyewear is only worn at your own risk. If you need to use them to see, we insist they are secured with a glasses band. We cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, or injury.
Safety Advisory:
- Please note there is a risk of friction burns, so we advise all riders to cover up exposed skin (except swim shoes and wetsuit boots).
- All jewellery must be removed, and earrings covered with a waterproof plaster.
