Paddle the River Stort in Open Canoes. Our canoes are suitable for two paddlers and ideal for adults with children. Boats available from 9.30am on Saturday and 10am Fridays and Sundays..

A 3 hour paddling session on the River Stort meeting at Kecksys marina Sawbridgeworth, including all the equipment needed for a there and back paddle out on the river.

Canoe, paddles and buoyancy aids are provided for your self directed paddle.

Why not combine our booking with our single person kayak hire for families with younger and older children as paddlers over 10 often prefer to paddle there own kayaks.

A confidence on and in water is important for the activity

Have in your car a change of clothing in case you get wet.

We recommend a drybag or clip container keeps phones or keys etc dry.

Enjoy a paddle and enjoy a relaxing time on the river, bring a picnic to enjoy at one of the many countryside locks that are accessible only by boat and relax and watch traditional narrow boats cruise the river or paddle to a nearby pub - we also have longer hire sessions available if you require more time and want to head out for a pub meal or for a longer paddle.
