  • Description

Take your Welsh Water Adventure on to the water by hiring one of electrical recreational boats. Leisurely explore the lake and take in all its beauty and the wide variety of wildlife it has to offer. After a safety briefing and competency test you can set off on your journey.

Pricing is based on £25 per craft, not per adult. The number of persons that can take part per craft is dependant on the craft capacity. For example, our electrical recreational boats can take up a maximum of two adults and two children. Your hire will include up to four buoyancy aids.

6 to 17 Years Old: Can be on this craft with a parent or guardian (18+) supervising from the same craft.

18+: Can use the craft on the water in line with our T&C’s.

Please be advised dogs are not permitted in or on the lake under any circumstances. Dogs must always remain on a lead when on site.

    Safety Notice:

Safety is our number one priority. In the event of poor weather conditions, for example; strong winds or thunder and lightning, we reserve the right to restrict water access to particular user groups, restrict the area available for activities, or close the lake. We will endeavour to give advance notice whenever possible, however, some decisions need to be made at short notice.

In the case where the lake is needed to be closed, we will endeavour to notify all customers to offer the opportunity to reschedule their session or receive a refund. We will also ensure the message is shared on the Llys Y Fran website and social media pages.

Before travelling to Llys Y Fran, we ask that you follow the current government advice and do not travel if you have any of the following symptoms:

    1. A high temperature: this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature).

    1. A new, continuous cough: this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).

    1. A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste: this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.

To ensure the safety of our customers and staff we ask you to sign a health declaration confirming you are free of symptoms.
