  • Description

Our youth adventure sessions offer children a lot of fun, an opportunity to make new friends and learn how to sail!

This youth adventure half day gives children the opportunity to learn how to control the craft and how to stay safe on the water with tuition from one of our qualified instructors. Once the basics have been mastered, the young sailors will head off on an adventure to explore the reservoir and participate in games and challenges to put their new sailing skills to the test!

Safety is our number one priority. In the event of poor weather conditions, for example; strong winds or thunder and lightning, we reserve the right to restrict water access to particular user groups, restrict the area available for activities, or close the lake. We will endeavour to give advance notice whenever possible, however, some decisions need to be made at short notice.

In the case where the lake is needed to be closed, we will endeavour to notify all customers to offer the opportunity to reschedule their session or receive a refund. We will also ensure the message is shared on the Llys Y Fran website and social media pages.

Upon arrival to Llys Y Fran you will need to sign in at our Activity Centre Reception. Please ensure all consent forms have been signed before your arrival.

Please Note: Minimum age to participate is 8 years old, however, a parent or guardian 18 years old + must remain on site for the duration and help aid kitting up and de-kitting at the start and end of the session.

    Requirements

Before travelling to Llys Y Fran, we ask that you follow the current government advice and do not travel if you have any of the following symptoms:
