  • Improve your Stand Up Paddleboarding skills...

    Description

    This Paddle Centre session is designed to be the next step in your paddleboard journey improving up on existing skills. With the paddleboarding basics locked in, ideally having completed our Stand Up Paddleboard Beginner Lesson, during this lesson we focus more on technique, various turning strokes and that all important self recovery to help you gain more confidence and enjoyment in the sport. We also touch on footwork and how it is useful in controlling your paddleboard especially when turning. This course is perfect for those that already own a paddleboard, If you need a paddleboard for this session, just add one as part of the lesson at a siginificantly discount rate.










    What is covered -

    1. Paddle Technique Coaching
    2. Maintaining a straight-line
    3. Use of the paddle for turning
    4. Bracing strokes
    5. Introduction of foot work
    6. Mastery of self recovery


    What is included -

    Buoyancy Aid

    Discounted Stand Up Paddleboard Hire (if a paddleboard & paddle is required)


    Requirements

    Minimum age 12 years old.

    A Parent or Guardian must also be on the water with any under 18's

    What to bring
    1. Suitable clothes for weather conditions.
    2. Change of clothes
    3. Towel
    4. Mobile phone - advised to take on water in a dry bag.
    5. Money for an after paddle coffee or even an Ice cream.


    Itinerary

    Please arrive 20 minutes before your booked session time as this will allow you to, sign in, get changed.

    Your instructor will meet you and the rest of the group and get you ready to go on the water with a safety brief.



    As your session end your instructor will call you in towards The Paddle Centre to return your equipment, sign in and grab a coffee or why not an ice cream.

This was our second time at the Paddle centre it's a lovely location to be out on the water and the staff at this centre were excellent.
