  • Description

Join us for some of the most breath taking paddle boarding in the UK!

The total cost of this expedition is £675, £375 at time of booking with final payment of £300 due 6 weeks prior to expedition start date.

Meeting at Inverness airport for 9.30am on the first day, we will then transport you into the Great Glen, 64 miles of breath taking paddling across Canals and Lochs.

Taking in the stunning views of Ben Nevis from Loch Lochy, the mystical and scenic  Loch Oich and the humongous Loch Ness, which holds as much water as all the lakes and rivers in England and Wales combined. Due to the ever changeable nature of weather (winds) in the Glen, we provide a support vehicle that stays with us the whole time and helps us move around the Glen, keeping the wind on our back and the luggage off your board. This is not a traditional style Great Glen trip starting at Fort William and finishing in Inverness. This is 4 days and 3 nights stand up paddling adventure in some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland.

Check out our reviews on Tripadvisor - Great Glen

This trip will involve wild camping in some very scenic spots. Sleeping under the stars in hammocks, fully equipped with mosquito/midge net and an air mattress with a tarp shelter to keep the elements out, if required. All provided by DD Hammock specialists. You will need to supply a sleeping bag for this trip. We recommend bringing a 2-3 season sleeping bag.

We have tents available also if you would prefer a tent!

A Support vehicle will be with us every step of the way, carrying our sleeping gear, clothing, food and essentials leaving you free to focus and enjoy the paddling.

Food and beverages will be included as follows -

A hearty, filling Breakfast of porridge and fruit to set you up for a days paddling will be provided each morning plus the ever important fresh filtered coffee!

A packed lunch for each days paddling, which includes a choice of rolls, fruit, chocolate, crisps and water.

Evening meals - Freshly Cooked High Carb style meals of pasta or rice alternatively we can organise a restaurant where appropriate, (pub/restaurant meal not included in price)

We will try our best to cater for dietary requirements, please inform us of any dietary requirements when booking, your more than welcome to bring your own nibbles/snack and drinks.

This trip includes all camp cooked food, camping equipment (apart from sleeping bag) and all paddling equipment. We will also transfer all participants between locations free of charge.

Please be flexible in your mindset to this trip, due to weather conditions we may have to change direction, switch location or in extreme weather not paddle at all (in this case we will find a safer activity to do - whisky tour as example).

What to expect on your paddling days!

All paddling equipment, 14ft touring paddleboard, carbon paddle and leash.

We provide high quality equipment from McConks, some of the best kit available on today’s market, this will make your experience more comfortable and enjoyable.

A wetsuit (suitable to the weather) and a PFD.

A suitably qualified and experienced member of Sup2summit staff, who will carry a VHF, Safety bag including first aid kit, as well as amazing local knowledge of the area.

Photos to take with you of your experience.

    Maximum of 6 participants

This trip is not suitable for beginners. Participants should be comfortable paddling up to 16km a day and ideally have done a similar style trip before.

At this time we will also set up a group chat on WhatsApp, so you can ask questions, get to know your team and receive more information about trip.

This package is available to single participants .

No minimum booking however this expedition needs a minimum of 4 participants for it to go ahead.

Payment options are available. Please contact us to discuss
