Club Sail at Arnside for new members

A chance for new and less experienced members to sail with experienced club members on the estuary at Arnside, Depending on the weather we might sail out into the Bay towards Grange or stay in the inner estuary. It is good opportunity to meet, sail and socialise with other club members.

The Clubhouse bar will be open afterwards.

The event is open to members and people who have been on one of our sailing courses. Children to be accompanied by parents.

Depending on the time of year and weather forecast, you might want to wear water proof clothing or wetsuit if you have one, though in hot summer weather T shirt and shorts might be sufficient. Your feet are likely to get wet getting into the boat so wear appropriate footwear. Gloves to help you grip ropes are another consideration. You can buy sailing gloves.

You might want to bring a changing clothing, though changing facilities in our boat park are limited to a caravan and gazebo, We can provide buoyancy aids, but bring your own if you have one.
