A chance to sail on Windermere

Description

Starting from Ferry Nab, we will either sail up the Lake towards Ambleside or south towards Fell Foot stopping for a picnic lunch

We will need help transporting boats to Windermere. We plan taking one Wanderers, the Gaffling Dinghy and possibly the Laser 2000. There will be up to three people per boat.

The cruise is not open to non-members.

Requirements

Be a competent sailor or have recently done a RYA dinghy sailing course. We ne need at least one experienced helm per boat.

What to bring

Normal sailing clothing. Buoyancy Aids

Itinerary

Sail either north towards Ambleside from Ferry Nab or south towards Fell Foot.

Bring a picnic lunch
