Dinghy Cruise on Coniston Water for Club members only

Description

Enjoy a day's dinghy cruise on the picturesque waters of Coniston Water. We plan sailing from Water Park Adventure Centre at the southern tip of the lake to Coniston Boating Centre and Bluebell Cafe at the north end of the lake for lunch, returning in the afternoon.

If there is time we might stop a beach on the way or at the Secret Harbour on Wild Cat Island (Peel Island) where the Swallows and Amazons children camped. . We will using Water Park's Bahia dinghies. There will be up to 3 people per boat. We will also need help with safety boat cover,

Whether you are a seasoned sailor or a passionate novice, this dinghy cruise promises an unforgettable day of sailing and camaraderie on one of England’s most beautiful lakes.

The Cruise is for members only.

Requirements

Be a competent sailor or have completed one of our courses at Killington.

It's a great small venue with an eclectic mx of music from a turn up and play/sing to class acts at reasonable prices
