A chance to sail a Wanderer on the scenic estuary at Arnside

Description

A chance for Wanderer owners to sail on the scenic estuary at Arnside with views at the Lake District Hills. We also welcome owners of other boats such as Wayfarers and Gulls. The Club has three Wanderer Dinghies

On one day there will be a race and on the other a cruise out into Morecambe Bay towards Grange-over-Sands.

Launch times are

Saturday 1215 - Racing

Sunday 1245 - Dinghy Cruise

As the tide does not wait for you, we advise arriving one to two hours early to set up.

Launching for visitors will either be from slipway by Ashmeadow at the end of the Promenade or from the Club's Boat Park

After sailing we plan meeting up in a pub or our clubhouse for a drink. We may organise a meal in a pub. There is a concert by Chris James, an award winning blues guitarist on Saturday evening in our clubhouse.
