Description

Club Members only


A guided paddle board river trip the Lake District, venue and timings TBC nearer the time. Although not for beginners, paddleboards need to be able to self rescue and move about on a board.



Final details re meeting point etc will be confirmed nearer the time and the trip will only run if the conditions are suitable, so may be cancelled with limited notice.


Options could include Waterhead (Ambleside), Fell Foot, Monk Coniston or Brown Howe (Coniston).







Requirements

Must be a member of the sailing club to join this session.


Previous experience paddling a paddleboard.


What to bring

Usual paddling kit


Drink/ snacks


Spare fleece & jacket in case of getting cold/ weather turns bad


Please wear footwear due to the hazards of rocks in the river.


If using your own board/ kayak please send in a copy of insurance for your craft (to meet the club's insurance needs)

It's a great small venue with an eclectic mx of music from a turn up and play/sing to class acts at reasonable prices
