Learn to Paddleboard in North Cardiff with Outdoor Explore Wales!

This paddleboard lesson is perfect for all paddlers looking to start or progress their paddleboarding journey. With a maximum group size of four, you can progress and learn at your own pace in a relaxed and safe environment.

If you have your own equipment, this instructive paddleboard experience costs just £45pp; we can provide full kit hire for a small fee of £15 which includes a paddleboard, paddle, leash, buoyancy aid and waterproof jacket as well as a dry bag if required – we also offer wetsuit hire at just £5 per person.

Any photos that we take on the tour can be shared with you, for free, after the journey.

Please note, due to being a small business, we need at least two participants on open lessons. While we will do our best to fill each session, if there is only one person booked on, we will look at rearranging the session.

Participants should be water confident.

If you are bringing your own equipment, you will need a buoyancy aid, which you can hire for £5 if you don't have one.

Bring some footwear (which will get wet) and appropriate clothes for the weather.

It's also a good idea to bring a small bottle of water, especially on a hot day.

We will get on the water as soon as we're all ready, where you will be taught how to paddleboard at your pace.
