Description
Experience the wonders of the night sky in a unique and unforgettable way with Outdoor Explore Wales' DarkSky Aqueduct Paddle. Join us for an evening paddle on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, located within Brecon Beacons Dark Sky Reserve, where you can soak up stunning views of stars above and the tranquil canal below.
This guided paddleboard tour starting at Brynich Lock will last 2.5 hours. It's a novice-friendly activity and a small group trip (6 people max), allowing all to enjoy, relax and paddle at a slow pace.
If you have your own equipment, this exciting paddleboard experience costs just £40pp; alternatively, we can provide full kit hire for a small fee of £15 which includes a paddleboard, paddle, leash, buoyancy aid and waterproof jacket as well as a dry bag if required – we also offer wetsuit hire at just £5 per person.
Please bring a headtorch (ideally with a red light, but a red light is not essential).
Any photos we take on the tour can be shared with you, for free, after the journey.
Please note that being a small business, we need at least three participants on open guided tours. While we will do our best to fill each session, if there are only 2 people booked on, we will look at rearranging the session. After booking we will send you the exact details of the meeting location.
We also offer Private Lessons and Guided tours, please contact us to arrange this for you.
