Join this unique, romantic paddle trip with your Valentine.

Explore the Brecon Beacons after dark from the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, on a night paddle with Outdoor Explore Wales.

This guided stand up paddleboard tour starting at Brynich Lock will last 2.5 hrs. It's a novice-friendly activity. A small group trip (6 people max), allowing all to enjoy, relax and paddle at a slow pace.

The price is £40pp if you have your own equipment.

You can hire full kit from us for £15, which includes:

The paddleboard, paddle, leash, buoyancy aid, waterproof jacket, and a dry bag.

We can provide a wetsuit (£5 hire fee applies) at your request.

Please bring a headtorch (ideally with a red light, but a red light is not essential).

Any photos we take on the tour can be shared with you, for free, after the journey.

Please note that being a small business, we need at least three participants on open guided tours. While we will do our best to fill each session, if there are only 2 people booked on, we will look at rearranging the session.

Participants should be water confident.

If you are bringing your own equipment, you will need a buoyancy aid, which you can hire for £5 if you don't have one.

Bring some footwear (which will get wet) and appropriate clothes for the weather.

Please bring a headtorch.

It's also a good idea to bring a small bottle of water, especially on a hot day.

You will be taken on a night-time guided tour of the canal.

I will provide any paddleboarding tips you might want, alongside information about the canal and the surrounding area.
