Gift yourself time to slow down, connect and spend some restorative time in nature

Description

Monday Meanders is an ongoing group that meets on the last Monday morning of each month exploring different locations in the Upper Tweed Valley. It is time to slow down and connect to self and nature through simple guided activities and sharing.

We all find that we go home feeling more grounded and refreshed.

Requirements

Comfortable to walk a mile over uneven ground

What to bring

We will be outside all morning so suitable clothing to keep you warm and dry.

Suitable footwear for walking on uneven terrain that will keep your feet warm and dry.

Any belongings in a backpack so you can have your hands free.

Natural snack to share.

Itinerary

Each session starts with a welcome and a few simple exercises to help us arrive in the present moment. We then set off on a short, gentle walk to a beautiful natural location where we will spend the rest of the session. Enroute we forage for ingredients for morning tea, learning what is in season and how to identify it. Once we have arrived at our session location we experience nature through different simple activities such as art, movement, song or simple observation to support us to low down and connect deeper to ourselves and the natural world. Over foraged herbal tea and delicious shared snacks there is time to share and reflect.
