Off peak- Recreational Practice

Skiing and Snowboarding, our 1 hour practice sessions are a great way to build your confidence level on the slope and get those vital hours in to develop your skills.

Recreational use of the slopes is available to anyone who meets the required minimum standards as laid out below:

Skiing:

1. Controlled turns
2. Ability to control speed
3. Stop and the ability to use all ski lifts

Snowboarding:

1. Controlled side-slip on toe and heel edge
2. Ability to stop and use lifts

Participants will need to sign a disclaimer to show that they are at the required level

Gloves, long trousers and long sleeved top must be worn at all times whilst on the slopes. Helmets are also compulsory for those aged 18 and under (and strongly recommended for all ages). Skis, boots, snowboards and ski poles are provided free of charge to borrow.
