Know how to swim

1. The surf lesson begins with a safety drill and etiquette
2. Introduction to basic concepts and techniques of surfing (paddling, popping up, balancing on the board)
3. Instructor demonstrates techniques and provides individual guidance and instruction
4. Group practices techniques on the beach with individual coaching from instructor
5. The group will head to the water to ride waves
6. Instructor introduces more advanced techniques and helps students refine their skills and build confidence in the water.
