  • Description

Embark on an exhilarating 1.5 hour trip aboard one of our Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB) for a trip along the Fife coast and out to Inchkeith Island. View Inchkeith lighthouse and the buildings from the boat before we blast back to Burntisland.

During the trip you can expect to experience the speed and manoeuvrability of the boat. Due to this you can expect to experience some shock and vibration.

Regretfully the minimum age for this trip is 16 years of age.

Please provide a mobile number so we can contact you with any last minute changes about the trip.

If you don't see a date and time that suits let us know and we will see if we can arrange a trip that works. Boats may vary from those pictured

    Requirements

Our trip is not suitable for everyone and could put the following at an increased level of risk. Below are some examples please note, this list is not exhaustive:

    1. Very young children
    2. People with reduced mobility
    3. Those who are pregnant
    4. Those suffering conditions resulting in decreased bone strength
    5. People with a history of back or spine conditions or injuries
    6. Anyone who is unable to effectively brace themselves during turns or impacts
    7. Regretfully we cannot accept those under 16 years of age

    What to bring

It is much colder out on the water than it is on land so we suggest you bring the following.

    1. Warm clothes
    2. hat and gloves.
    3. Waterproofs if you have them
    Itinerary

After being issued a lifejacket and getting a safety briefing we will head East along the coast past Burntisland, Pettycur and Kinghorn. We will then head out to Inchkeith Island. Once there will will take a closer look at some of the buildings and lighthouse from the boat before heading back to the harbour. We can expect to see seals and a variety of birds including puffins (May to July only) and gannets. Dolphins and whales have also been seen so make sure you keep a good look out.

Please note: this is subject to weather and may be changed.
