Experience the Brecon Loop Paddle, paddling down the River Usk as you make your way through thrilling rapids and scenic countryside.

On this 6-hour adventure, Outdoor Explore Wales will take you on an exciting paddleboard journey along the River Usk and a relaxing journey back on the Monmouth & Brecon Canal.

This trip is designed for intermediate levels, so those aged 8+ can join in!

If you have your own equipment, this incredible river and canal experience costs just £70pp; alternatively, we can provide full kit hire for a small fee of £29 which includes a paddleboard, paddle, leash, buoyancy aid, helmet and waterproof jacket as well as a dry bag if required – we also offer wetsuit hire at just £5 per person extra.

You will need to wear a buoyancy aid and a helmet. If you are bringing your own kit but don't have a buoyancy aid or helmet, you can hire them for £5 each for the trip.

Any photos that we will take on the tour can be shared with you, for free, after the journey.

Advance booking is required, and please note that due to being a small business I need at least three participants on open tours – if there are only three people booked on we will look at rearranging the session.

You are encouraged to ask as many SUP questions as you like, and tips, tricks and advice will be available and shared with those who want to learn more too.

You will receive a confirmation of the meeting time and place after booking your place.

Due to being a small business, we need at least 3 people to book on to these trips to make them viable. If we have 2 or fewer people, we will do our best to advertise and fill the spaces but we may have to rearrange the trip.

Participants should be water confident.

If you are bringing your own paddle equipment, you will need a buoyancy aid and helmet. You can hire these for £5 each if you don't have them.

Bring some footwear (which will get wet) and appropriate clothes for the weather - layers are a good idea if it's cold!

You may be able to hire a wetsuit if you want one.

A spare set of clothes is a good idea (to be left in your car) as you might well get wet!

Don't forget to bring lunch!
