Relaxing Getaway Paddle, Brecon

Come and join Outdoor Explore Wales for a Relaxing Getaway Paddle on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. This 2.5-hour paddleboard tour starting at Brecon is perfect for novices, as it's always in a small group of 6 or less so you can enjoy, relax and paddle at your own pace!

The price is £40pp if you have your own equipment - but don't worry if not, we provide full kit hire for just £15 which includes: The paddleboard, paddle, leash, buoyancy aid, waterproof jacket and a dry bag (wetsuit hire also available).

We'll also take photos along the way that will be shared with you for FREE after the session.

Please note, due to being a small business, we need at least three participants on open guided tours. While we will do our best to fill each session, if there are two or fewer people booked on, we will look at rearranging the session.

Participants should be water confident.

If you are bringing your own equipment, you will need a buoyancy aid, which you can hire for £5 if you don't have one.

Bring some footwear (which will get wet) and appropriate clothes for the weather.

It's also a good idea to bring a small bottle of water, especially on a hot day.

You will be led on a guided tour of the canal.

Your instructor will provide any paddleboarding tips you might want, alongside information about the canal and the surrounding area
