  • Description

Explore the Gower Coast with Outdoor Explore Wales.

This guided stand up paddleboard tour starting from Llangennith Beach, Gower will last approx. 5.5 to 6 hrs.

We will paddle from the beach near Hill End car park, out towards Worm's Head. We will stop for lunch on the water or in a sheltered bay, weather depending.

This is a more adventurous paddle, so you should have some paddleboard experience for this activity. If you're not sure, we're happy to chat it over with you.

A small group trip (6 people max), allowing all to enjoy, relax and paddle at a slow pace.

The price is £70pp if you have your own equipment.

You can hire full kit from us for £29, which includes:

The paddleboard, paddle, leash, buoyancy aid, waterproof jacket, and a dry bag.

We can provide a wetsuit (£5 hire fee applies) at your request.

As with all coastal trips, this tour is weather, tide, and sea condition dependant. We may change the venue or rearrange the trip to a more suitable date if needed. You will be informed of any changes in advance.

Any photos that we will take on the tour can be shared with you, for free, after the journey.

Please note, due to being a small business, I need at least three participants on open tours. While I will do my best to fill each session, if there is only one person booked on, we will look at rearranging the session.

    Requirements

Participants should have some paddleboarding experience.

If you are bringing your own equipment, you will need a buoyancy aid, which you can hire for £5 if you don't have one.

    What to bring

You need to bring some footwear (which will get wet) and appropriate clothes for the weather.

    Don’t forget your lunch!

It's also a good idea to bring a small bottle of water, especially on a hot day.

    Itinerary

We will take a slow paddle out towards Worm's Head and find a nice spot for lunch in a bay or afloat. We will explore the headland and gently paddle back to shore.
