  • Description

Experience a magical sunset over the sea with Outdoor Explore Wales.

On this beginner-friendly stand up paddleboard adventure from Newton Beach, Porthcawl, we will explore the stunning coastline and take in breathtaking views of the sunset on the water.

This slow-paced tour lasts approx. 2.5 hours and can accommodate up to 6 people for an intimate experience that's perfect for groups or solo adventurers alike!

All necessary equipment is provided including a paddleboard, paddle, leash, QR belt, buoyancy aid, waterproof jacket and dry bag – we also offer wetsuit hire at just £5 per person extra.

A price of £40pp applies if you have your own equipment; full kit hire costs just £15pp extra.

A headtorch is essential as it's likely to be dark when we return to the beach.

We will also provide any photos taken during the tour for free after your journey. Advance booking is required, and please note that due to being a small business I need at least three participants on open tours – if there are only three people booked on we will look at rearranging the session.

Once you have booked, we will send you the exact details of the meeting point location, which may change due to forecast conditions for the trip.

We also offer Private Lessons and Guided tours, please contact us to arrange this for you.

If you have any questions in the meantime, you can reach us directly:

    Requirements

    Participants should be water confident.

If you are bringing your own equipment, you will need a buoyancy aid, which you can hire for £5 if you don't have one.

    What to bring

Bring some footwear (which will get wet) and appropriate clothes for the weather.

You will need a headtorch as it will probably be dark when head back to the beach!

It's also a good idea to bring a bottle of water, especially on a hot day.
