In March 2024 the national youth council of the UK closed. This has left a gap in service for young people across the UK within youth voice and rights-based participation.
Berkshire Youth are hosting a Youth Focus Group to feedback local young people’s thoughts, ideas and priorities to the National Youth Agency.
The National Youth Agency (NYA) is working alongside young people to restore the functions of the national youth council. NYA is committed to developing a youth-led model that ensures young people's voices are heard – “not about us, without us”.
