Description

Climbing Youth Club

For young people age 9 to 13 years old


4.30pm-5.30pm

£8 per person per session


Youth club climbing sessions give young people the opportunity to build their confidence and skills in an adventure sport whilst also making new friends.

During the sessions, participants will learn basic climbing skills and technique with our qualified instructors.


Climbing harnesses and helmets will be provided and must be worn throughout the activity.


We ask that participants wear clothes and closed-toe shoes or trainers that do not restrict their movement and that any long hair is tied back.



Booking note

Bookings will initially be made in parent/guardian name and then individual participants must be added via the "Invite participant" link - please ensure the participant names is added as it helps our youth workers know who is attending.


If booking for more than 1x participant you will need to complete the disclaimer and questionnaire in full for each participant that you book for.


We do require medical consent forms to be completed prior to participation. These can be accessed by emailing Waterside@berkshireyouth.co.uk and requesting a youth participation consent form.






Requirements

Young people must be age 9 to 13.


Harnesses and helmets will be provided and must be worn when participating.






What to bring

  1. Participants should wear clothes that they can move freely in, and must wear closed-toe shoes.
  2. All long hair must be tied back.
