    Krazy Races Soap Box Challenge!

    For young people in secondary school age group



    Session 1 - Thursday 29th May


    Session 2 - Thursday 24th July Session 3 - Thursday 31st July

    Session 4 - Thursday 7th August

    10.00am-4.00pm







    Venue: Xtrac, Unit 6, Gables Way, Thatcham RG19 4ZA


    Cost: Free





    Transport can be provided, if needed, please add this as an optional extra.

    Come along and join us to choose the theme, design, build and test the soap box Waterside will use to take part in the Krazy Races Soap Box Challenge at the event on 24th August.





    Please note - Participants must be able to attend all dates.



    Booking note

    Bookings will initially be made in parent/guardian name and then individual participants must be added by selecting the link "Invite participant".




    A participant consent form will need to be completed for all individuals; these can be completed on the day by a parent/guardian or in advance by emailing Jessica.Kirby@berkshireyouth.co.uk and requesting a "Y23 form"
















    Requirements
    1. This activity is for young people in secondary school age group.

    3. Please sign in with Youth Worker on arrival.








    What to bring
    1. Participants should wear clothes and trainers that they can move freely in.
    2. Please bring a water bottle

    Sessions Include:

    Session 1 - Thursday 29th May - Theme, Design & Materials.




    Session 2 - Thursday 24th July - Start Build & Assembly



    Session 3 - Thursday 31st July - Finish Build & Testing


    Session 4 - Thursday 7th August - Snagging List, Livery & Costumes

    10.00am-4.00pm
