Whiteadder Reservoir is an ideal place to launch your craft, whether it's a dinghy, kayak, paddleboard, windsurfer or wingboard. It's a great place for an open water swim, a relaxing day on the bank, or a base for walking and exploring the surrounding countryside. No power craft are permitted, except WWT Safety Boats and electric motors on fishing boats. This pass is not a fishing permit nor a slipway launch pass for a trailer dinghy or rowing boat. Fishing Permits and vehicle access for trailers are available separately.

Your 2025 Pass purchase directly contributes to maintaining the centre grounds, car park and ensures essential facilities remain accessible and safe for everyone. Children are not charged but should be accompanied by a responsible adult. Pass Holder can access a toilet which is open all hours throughout the year. Our water is filtered and tested . There is no reliable mobile signal at the reservoir but Pass Holders can use our WiFi. When the centre is open, passholders may use our changing facilities, except when in use by youth groups.

Passes do not include any safety cover or supervision by Whiteadder Watersports Trust. Please respect other users, make sure you are visible when our safety boats are operating, and please keep clear of groups under instruction in the area in front of the boatshed and around the pontoon.
