ABOUT US

Brighton Kitesurf and SUP Academy was established in 2008 and is the only school in West Sussex that is a BKSA (British Kite Surfing Association) and BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddleboarding Association) recognized school.

WHY RIDE WITH US

We are the longest running kitesurf school on the South Coast, established in 2007 and have over eight thousand hours of teaching experience !!!

We were the first school on the South coast to be affiliated to the British Kitesports Association and are approved by Lancing parish council and Adur district council to teach kitesurfing and Stand Up Paddleboarding at Lancing beach. We also have £10 million public liability insurance .

Lancing beach has shallow calm water with sand underfoot making it the premier kite beach on the South Coast for teaching, in fact its so good its used by the British Kitesports Association for national and local competitions !!

We only teach one to one or group lessons with no more than two students per group per instructor to make sure our lessons are as safe as possible and that you progress quicker.

We are the first school on the South coast to use BB talkin two way communication helmets for rapid safe progression, the range is up to one kilometer.

All our instructors are British Kitesports Association instructors and we support you during and after your lessons. Once you are ready to fly solo you can set up on our teaching beach and we will help make sure you are safe and ready to go .

We have new and used equipment for sale after your course. If you buy a new set of kit we will reimburse the cost of your course against your purchase !!

Throughout the year we organize trips abroad to hone your skills and improve your ability. These are great fun and really give you a flavor of the kitesurfing lifestyle. We are one big happy family here at Brighton Kitesurf and SUP Academy, come and see for yourself and “ Ride With Us “.
