Kid's Bikes and Accessories Hire

We have a range of bikes and accessories available in all shapes and sizes. Please carefully read the descriptions and sizing guide to be sure the bikes and accessories you hire are right for you!

Child Bikes

All-round bikes for children aged 4 - 14 years. Designed for on-road and light off-road cycling. Perfect for the Elan Valley Trail. Under 18s must be supervised by an adult.

Accessories (Fitted to hired bikes only):

**Accessories can not be used with an E-bike.**

Child Trailer: allows up to two small children, minimum age 12 months & maximum weight of 45kg/100lb. This waterproof trailer is designed to be pulled behind an adult bike.

In addition to the bikes, each hire includes:

Bicycle Helmets

Repair Kit (Bag, Pump, Multi-tool, Puncture Repair Kit)

Cycle Map

Cancellation Policy:

1. More than 48 hours’ notice = 100% refund
2. 24-48 hours’ notice = 50% refund
3. Less than 24 hours’ or no cancellation = no refund

Booking dates may be changed once only, Amended booking dates do not qualify for a refund.

A valid Photo ID must be provided in order to hire any bike/trailer (Driver's Licence, Passport, etc).

Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Trailers can only be fitted to our adult hire (non assisted powered) bikes.

A valid Photo ID must be provided in order to hire any bike (Driver's Licence, Passport, etc). The ID should match the details of the Hirer and will be kept in a security locker for the duration of the hire.

Bring your own helmet if you have one. Hired or personal, helmets must be worn at all times while using any hire bike. Helmets are included with all hires, but we recommend bringing your own helmet if you have one to save time fitting.

Please bring appropriate footwear. Flip-flops are not good for cycling! We recommend a good pair of sturdy trainers or boots.

Please check weather forecasts before your trip and bring appropriate clothing. The Elan Valley can experience all 4 seasons in one day. Make sure to bring a spare change of clothes and plenty of water!
