2 hour self guided Katakanu hire

Welcome to Bath's ONLY BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddle Association) recognised paddleboarding school.

We are really pleased to offer you the opportunity to hire one of our 6 seat Katakanus from our site at The Boathouse, Newbridge Road, Bath.

From just £25 per person for a 2 hour self guided outing, including paddles and buoyancy aids, you can explore this beautiful, unspoilt, stretch of the River Avon at your leisure.

Please note that a minimum of 2 adults are required to operate a Katakanu.

As with all of our activities, booking this event will entitle you to an amazing 15% discount off of food and drink on the day at The Boathouse, Bath pub.

​Please note that river safety guidance and rules are on display on site, plus a member of staff will give you a full safety briefing prior to you commencing your adventure.​

As this is a self guided session, previous experience of paddling is recommended, but not essential.

You will be provided with a buoyancy aid that MUST be worn at all times throughout your session and it is not to be removed while on the water.

Always remember to Paddle on the RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE RIVER and to respect other river users at all times.

YOU WILL NEED A FULLY FUNCTIONING MOBILE PHONE TO TAKE WITH YOU DURING YOUR ADVENTURE AND IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU CARRY IT IN A WATERPROOF POUCH WHILE ON THE WATER.
