✨ Cambridgeshire Morning SUP trip | Ely ⛪

With small group sizes, this trip is designed as an opportunity for you to get to know new people and explore new parts of the UK via SUP.

    Ely | 6 mile paddle

We’re sooo excited to announce a picturesque paddle through the Cathedral city of Ely. The “King of all Ouse’s,” the River Great Ouse runs for a whopping 143 miles! Not to be confused with the River Ouse or River Little Ouse – River Great Ouse is a nature lover’s dream, and is popular with fishermen. Due to the improved water quality of the river, the wildlife is booming.

We will meet in Ely on Saturday morning (riverside car park) and paddle up stream through Ely town centre towards the charming village of Little Thetford. This paddle includes breaks and a lunch stop, so pack a picnic and a flask of tea. Read more about what you can expect on the trip here.

🩹 The quality of our local waterways is something to always be aware of and it’s important to do your own research regarding this. When paddle boarding with us we ask that you cover up any minor cuts and abrasions, and to wash once you are home if you fall/swim in the river, this is to reduce the risk of disease such as weil's disease. Paddle Up strongly recommends not to participate in paddling if I have any open wounds, and instead to reschedule. Read our FAQ's here.
