Liverpool Watersports Centre

I’ve been training and racing with Amathus Boat Club at Liverpool Watersports Centre, and it has been an amazing experience.
The club is very welcoming, supportive, and friendly, making it easy for both beginners and experienced paddlers to feel part of the team.

Coach Dave and members are passionate about dragon boat racing and always encourage everyone to improve while having fun.
Training sessions are well organized, challenging, and enjoyable, with a great team spirit on and off the water.

The facilities at Liverpool Watersports Centre are excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic.
I’ve made great memories, met wonderful people, and enjoyed every moment of being part of the club.

I would highly recommend Amathus Boat Club to anyone looking to try dragon boat racing, improve their fitness, or become part of a friendly and supportive sporting community.

Staff are friendly and helpful, there's a lovely community of regular swimmers and it's easy to get to.

Love this place. We’ve visited in the summer and in the autumn ish months. In the past we’ve had a go on the inflatables - we took our year 6 kids as a treat for finishing junior school a few summers ago, parents and kids got involved so much fun. Our most recent visit was for the canoes in the summer holidays and loved it. The whole family got to try out their own canoe and can’t wait to go again. It’s reasonably priced and the staff are really clear on the rules and your safety but most importantly they really want you to have a good time. Staff have been really good at calming nerves of beginners and full of advice. Definitely be going again to try something new or just for a  family day out.
