  • Description

Let us take you on a guided hike up the baby sibling of the infamous Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge. Smaller but by no means a meeger challenge compared to Ingleborough, Whernside or any other Yorkshire Fell.

All our guided hikes are bespoke and subject to staff availability. Please select the exact number of participants and your preferred date at the checkout and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Price is £240 for the first 6 participants then £40 per person thereafter.

    Requirements

This guided hike is mostly on well trodden paths, gravel tracks and stone paved stairways, suitable for ages 10* and up, however a basic level of walking fitness will be required due to the mixed terrain and gradients throughout the day.

We try to be as accessible as possible, however, if you have any mobility issues or otherwise it is best to share this with us as soon as possible so we can try to make any reasonable adjustments necessary.

*Under 18's must be accompanied by a participating responsible adult. Max of 3 under 18's to 1 adult.

    What to bring

Your Mountain Leader will be prepared with all the necessary navigation and safety equipment required for the day, however participants are expected to come suitably prepared for the weather conditions on the day.

    Personal equipment required includes:

    1. Comfortable, quick drying walking clothing, (NO cotton).
    2. Waterproof jacket AND trousers.
    3. Warm Insulating layers and spare layers in rucksack.
    4. Walking boots or sturdy walking shoes. No wellies, crocs or trainers please as we will be walking on mixed terrain and gradients.
    5. Packed lunch and snacks.
    6. Personal water bottle, 2 litres recommended as a minimum.
    7. Personal rucksack.
    8. Small personal first aid kit (optional but strongly recommended).
    9. Head torch and spare batteries (optional but highly recommended).

Our Mountain Leaders reserve the right to restrict participation if you arrive ill-prepared for the conditions on the day. No refunds can or will be offered in these circumstances.

    Itinerary

The day will be flexible in its structure, with routes, speeds and distances suitable for the groups current abilities plus the weather and conditions underfoot, allowing plenty of opportunities to explore the local surroundings, enjoying the day out in the dales and taking lots of photos.

Our experienced Mountain Leaders will always choose the best route on the day to provide you with a great adventure and memories that will last a lifetime.
