This 1/2 day fun lake treasure hunt is suitable for beginners with no experience and those with a little sit-on-top, canoe or kayak experience. Ideal for families that include children under 10 years or a mixture of ages. Under 18's must be accompanied, please ensure you book adults onto the activity too.

I will greet you and provide you with all the equipment you need, we will then set off on our quest to find the clues to the treasure in our canoes.

I will stay with you and help you to develop some basic skills in a fun supportive environment so you can go on a short treasure hunt in the canoes to explore a sheltered part of the lake - will you find the clues that will lead you to the hidden treasure?

Pirate costumes are optional - depending on your children, how old they are and what they enjoy. The younger the children the more adults the better to help power the canoe. Even if they can't paddle much, the younger children are always good at spotting the clues and finding the treasure! Older children can contribute more to the paddling and solving the clues.

This beautiful lake is within a World Heritage Site and the Eryri National Park. On a clear day you can enjoy views of the summit of 'Yr Wyddfa' (Snowdon) . We try to provide some complimentary photos of your experience. There is a cafe that overlooks the lake so you can enjoy some lunch or drinks looking out where you paddled. 

A change of clothes and extra footwear that can get wet. Drinks and snacks to keep the children going.
