    Youth SUP Academy....so who is it for?

    Our Academy sessions are aimed young people aged 12-18. The aims of the project are to introduce young people to all aspects of paddle boarding.

    We'll be focusing on paddle skills and techniques, building confidence and resilience and developing competence to include SUP racing and touring.

    There will also be a focus on mental health, nutrition and healthy eating.

    Dedicated SUP training for young people to develop skills, get fit, improve mental health and make new friends.

    The Youth SUP Academy launches on Sunday 2nd June and runs every week throughout the summer.


    This 2 hour session is specially tailored for young people wanting to learn new skills, keep fit, have fun and make new friends.

    Through a 16 week summer season we'll introduce you to all aspects of SUP paddling and you'll develop your skills.

    Minimum age for children - 12

    What to bring

    You'll need to bring a pair of trainers or water-sports shoes to wear on your feet, along with your swimwear and a towel.

    We provide wetsuits and buoyancy aids.

    During the warmer months of summer you can wear shorts & t-shirts.


    Please check in at SUP Club HQ.

    Once we've got you kitted up and ready to go we'll head over to the water.

    We'll start with a 15 minute warm up and safety brief and then head out onto the water and get paddling.

    You should expect to be on the water and paddling for 90 minutes.
