A fun day of Technical Racing & Sprint Racing
The event is aimed at seasoned SUP racers and novice paddlers alike, it's an inclusive and exciting day of racing for anyone who wants to push themselves, to paddle more efficiently, to improve your techniques and to have fun.
We offer different categories to suit all levels of racers. The categories are as follows:
The racing format for the day is short, fast and furious! Staring off with a 2 lap Technical race, with a 1 lap race for the juniors and Novices, we'll finish the day with 100m and 200m Sprints, no heats, just straight knockout or glory!

There are changing facilities and lockers in our cosy clubhouse where you can hang out before and after the race, and where you can help yourself to hot drinks.
We finish the day with a BBQ and prize giving!
If you don't have your own race board, don't worry, we have boards available to hire. We will be providing boards for the Juniors free of charge.
To attend this event you must be paddling confidently on your own.
This event is aimed at everyone from novice SUP paddlers to seasoned SUP racers.
You'll need to have mastered the basics of SUP, and have been paddling independently for a while.
Biodiversity and invasive non-native species policy: As users of Thames Water's Farmoor Reservoir facility we have a responsibility to do our part in taking care of the biosecurity of the site.
If you are bringing your own board to use on Farmoor Reservoir it is your responsibility to ensure you have thoroughly cleaned it before you arrive. We have facilities on site for you to clean your board before and after using the water. Please help us to keep our environment safe by abiding by this policy.
There is plentiful free parking at the Reservoir and a lovely Cafe in the Sailing Club serving hot & cold food and drinks.
Ideally you'll have your own board and would and bring it along with you.
We can provide wetsuits and buoyancy aids if you need them.
Likewise if you want to use your own wetsuit or PFD, please bring it with you.
If you don't have your own equipment please get in contact as we have boards available to hire at £15 each (free for Juniors).
Please arrive in plenty of time for the event briefing.
You'll need to be kitted up and ready to go so that we can start on time.
