Intro: The London based taster wing surfing course is designed for Londoners (or others within London) who want to have a practical understanding of what the sport is all about before committing to one of our recognised RYA wing foiling courses that take place near Bracklesham Bay, Chichester. On this course we try to cover the following subjects so that you have a greater understanding of what wing surfing entails going forward:

1. Understanding the wind & how we orientate ourselves & the wing within it
2. The various safety systems & signals involved in wing surfing
3. Understanding the different types & sizes of wings & boards for wing surfing
4. Understanding how the kit works & putting it together
5. Neutral wing position, powering on and off, stopping
6. Self rescue techniques
7. And more, time allowing

The price for the course reduces by the numbers in your group - the bigger the group the cheaper the cost per person.

We start with theory but very quickly move onto practising with wings so that you understand whats involved within wing surfing. After this course is done you will find you learn much quicker on further courses going forward.
