A one day British Canoeing course, to improve your paddle boarding skills and knowledge, on the amazing Kielder Water.

‘This award is designed to develop your understanding of how to plan and paddle a SUP in sheltered water, using the appropriate abilities and decision making skills to travel safely on your pre-determined route’.

Some of the content will include:

Planning a safe SUP journey.

What to wear on the water.

What equipment to take with us.

Safety and Rescue techniques.

Personal skills(Body, paddle and foot positioning).

Dealing with mishaps.

We can include all kit. Paddle-boards, wetsuit, bouyancy aid.

This is the one day course rather than 2. So you should have a bit of SUP experience.

Minimum age 15.
