    SUP Safer ⛑️

Being a Paddle UK Delivery Partner (formally known as British Canoeing), we offer a number of Paddle UK Paddle Awards & Personal Performance Awards. The Personal Performance Awards allow you to develop your personal paddling and decision making skills in the craft and environment of your choice.

The SUP Safer Course is a Paddle UK personal performance award, designed for anyone wanting to gain knowledge and raise their awareness of their personal safety in a sheltered water environment. The course covers 4 key modules: SUP equipment, environment and weather, planning, and safety on the water. ⛑️ New for 2024 - there is a tidal module which can be added on during the booking process. Learn more about the tidal module here.

Each award description is available from Paddle UK here. But we're always very happy to chat with you and talk through the course, and help you to decide on your best way forward.

🩹 The quality of our local waterways is something to always be aware of and it’s important to do your own research regarding this. When paddle boarding with us we ask that you cover up any minor cuts and abrasions, and to wash once you are home if you fall/swim in the river, this is to reduce the risk of disease such as weil's disease. Paddle Up strongly recommends not to participate in paddling if I have any open wounds, and instead to reschedule. Read our FAQ's here.
