Our sit-on-top kayaks are super easy to use and a great way to get on the water and explore the Bay.

Description

Kayaking is a beautiful way to explore Mounts Bay and get up close to St Michael's Mount. We offer kayaking rental by the hour in British made Tootega Sit-on top kayaks. Super stable and easy to paddle. We do have a designated area that you can kayak in and we do not allow our kayaks or boards to go around St Michael's Mount or out of sight of our beach base, but there is a whole lot of of wonderful water you can play in and crossing over to St Michael's Mount and exploring the Hogus reef on a kayak or SUP is a fantastic experience.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult on the water.

Requirements

Participants should be able to swim 25m and be water confident.

Children under the age of 18 need a parent to hire the board / kayak and take responsibility for them when they are on the water.

What to bring

You will need a towel or changing robe and maybe a change of clothes.

Sunscreen and sunglasses are a good idea in the summer and sunglass retainers in case you fall in......we don't want you losing your sunnies or adding to plastic in the ocean! Re-usable water bottles are encouraged. No single use plastics please.

Buoyancy aids are provided.
