Torquay Alpine Ski Club

As two 50+ year olds who have never even put a ski boot on, the Learn to Ski afternoon seemed like a good idea.
We weren’t disappointed. Our instructors Rick and Neil were absolutely brilliant, patient and encouraging. Nothing was too much trouble and the session was enjoyable, fun and great value for money. We can’t wait to use our new skills again!

I've spent a few months learning to ski here before my first ski trip. I'm not naturally sporty and was so nervous. All of the staff at the club are so welcoming and friendly and can't do enough to help. I've had lessons with Lewis, Rick, Nick and Angus who have all been fantastic. They were very patient but also pushed me enough each week to really improve. Very pleased at where I am now after looking back at videos of my first lesson! An amazing facility and worth every penny. Everyone there clearly loves the sport and are super encouraging.

Having never put on a pair of ski’s, we thought it best to have some lessons before embarking on a holiday! 👀 Absolutely brilliant place to learn, very friendly and knowledgeable instructors, everything provided and hire equipment is of great quality. Mike was particularly patient 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 Great value for money, would highly recommended…

The minus temperature conditions combined with the water spray meant it was freezing on the slopes as we were there, upping the speed and making for an authentic experience! 🤣 ❄️
