    Waterfall dipping sessions in the heart of the Galloway Forest Park are suitable for anyone able to undertake a gentle walk (approximately ¾ mile each way) and be brave enough to immerse in some seriously bracing waters.

    There is no need to be super fit, we always go at the pace of the slowest person. No racing or route marching here!

    Swim The Lochs invites you to take a breath of fresh air and join us for an unforgettable experience. Step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, channel your inner child and enjoy a seriously fun and invigorating activity. This two-hour adventure starts with a gentle walk, leading to a beautiful wild waterfall. Once there, you'll be able to take on the challenge of plunging into its bracing waters. No matter what your fitness level is, Sarah will ensure that everyone goes at their own pace - so no need to worry if you're feeling apprehensive about the experience.

    What You Need:

    1. swimsuit, swim shoes or old trainers, swim gloves if available. Warm hat. (I recommend wearing your swimsuit under your clothes for ease of changing) Wear a wetsuit if you prefer, however, it is not a requirement (there are so many fantastic benefits of exposing your body to cold water!)
    2. Please bring plenty of warm clothes for afterwards, including a dry hat & gloves, even on a warmer day.
    3. Flask with hot drink & snack for afterwards.
