    Requirements

You must be able to walk over uneven ground for an extended period- approx. 400meters.

    What to bring

The weather in the Falklands is often challenging. We would suggest you bring with you some warm clothing with windproof and waterproof layers recommended. Ideally please wear robust footwear as this tour does involve walking over uneven ground.

    Itinerary

The tour will last half a day - approximately 4-5hrs - and will include:

    – Pick up in 4WD vehicles from the Stanley area.

    – A drive to Berthas Beach, which includes a personal insight into living in the Falkland Islands from your tour guide.

    – After arriving at Berths Beach you will be given time to explore the long beautiful white beach and the large colony of Gentoo Penguins. If you’re lucky you may see the occasional King Penguin or dolphin.

    – After your return drive and arrival back into Stanley enjoy the guided highlights tour of the Falklands' capital. Explore the area surrounding Stanley; the culture, wildlife, history and battlefields - with some flexibility built in.

    – On completion of the tour you will still have time to explore Stanley yourself and we will be happy to recommend somewhere to eat/drink.

    – A hot drink and snack will be provided at an appropriate point.
