Description

Experience the beauty of the Falkland Islands with an electric fat bike adventure and wildlife tour! Our experienced team at Falklands Outdoors will guide you on a three-hour exploration visiting some of the most stunning beaches in South America. As you cruise along over a variety of different terrain, feel free to stop and take pictures or just appreciate the view while your electric fat bikes make it easy to cover more distance without tiring out. You'll also get to experience local wildlife, Magellanic and Gentoo Penguins and if you're lucky like sea lions and dolphins as well as explore historical sites from World War II. Whether you're looking for a relaxing ride through nature or are ready for an adrenaline rush - this electric fat bike tour has something for everyone!

Requirements

You are required to be confident riding a bike on and off the road, on gravel and on single track.


What to bring

Sturdy footwear.

Windproof jacket.

Waterproof jacket in case of bad weather.

Sun cream and sunglasses if necessary.


Itinerary

The trip will start with a short journey to the start location of the end of the harbour near the Lady Elisabeth Ship wreck. From here will will pick our way over a variety of terrains exploring the areas of Gypsy Cove, Yorke Bay and Cape Pembroke Lighthouse. So we can explore more there will be several occasions where we leave the bikes and go on foot to get to the best spots.
