Amazing family day out.
Lovely walk around the lake. I think all the way round is about 8-9 miles soneone said. Or we just went from the centre along the dam and back.

Food was really reasonably priced, the views while eating was something else even in rubish weather.

As for the kids plenty of activities to take part in free of charge and a big park to play in. They had a load of wooden handmade games that entertained mybwhole family kids, parents and grandparents for ages. A lot of fun and my children asked the next daybif we could go back

Stopped off here on our trip to Wales,  it's breathtaking. Just pay for parking & chill. walk along the dam or around the beautiful area there's anosprey viewing area too.

It's a beautiful place but the only downside was that the dogs were not allowed in the cafe or visitor centre, which left me pretty stuck once I had arrived as I planned on eating there. There are a lot things to do for water enthusiasts and the place has stunning walks and scenery.
