Pre-race preparatory gate training Sunday Session (15.09.2024), for the Welsh Championships 2024 @Llandudno slope.

The session will include various course sets (Stubby's and Big Gates) to prepare for the weekend coming up.

Attendees will need to sign in at the ski room prior to going onto the slope.

The session will start at 4pm until 6pm, be sure to arrive in plenty of time prior to get ready and make the most of the session.

Our NWSC coaches will be on hand to set and coach throughout the session.

You do not need to be a full member of the NWSC to attend this session, but you will be a de facto member by paying to attend for the duration of the session only.

Membership

You will need to be a competent skier capable of using the lift, and skiing from the top of the slope making controlled linked turns around gates and markers.

Parents of any children under the age of 16 are expected to remain at the centre, within sight of the slope, or make suitable arrangements otherwise, in case they are required.

The supervising coach will reserve the right to ask participants to leave the slope should their ability not be up to the required standard, and / or potentially be at imminent risk of harming themselves or others.

The price includes hire of equipment from the slope at Llandudno if you don't have your own.

You must bring (your own) gloves, and wet weather gear is advised in case of rain, and baring in mind that there are also sprinklers on the slope to consider.

Helmets are essential for this session.
