Student Affairs Ireland (SAI) is the primary national body leading and supporting the community of Student Affairs Professionals in Ireland, through collaboration with institutions, professional development opportunities, and the advancement of good practice in research and policy development.


Vision

SAI’s vision is to lead the community of student affairs professionals in Ireland and support the holistic development of students as part of their educational experience.


Mission

SAI’s mission is to be the primary national body supporting student affairs professionals in Ireland.


Objectives

To help realise its vision and achieve its mission, SAI has set itself the following objectives:

  1. Advocate for policy development and change on issues affecting students in higher education.
  2. Promote and improve student development and support services for students entering and participating in higher education in Ireland.
  3. Facilitate national and international networking and communication between individuals and associations concerned with student affairs in higher education.
  4. Facilitate research on matters of common interest.
