Tandem Kayak - Sudbury to Bures (6 mile)

An unforgettable one-way, one-day tandem kayak adventure from Sudbury to Bures.

Paddling through stunning landscapes on the calm and tranquil Essex & Suffolk Stour, your 6 miles journey allows for 3-3.5 hours paddle-time and plenty of spare time to stop for lunch, relax and wild swim: pack a picnic or secure your kayaks and stop in at The Lamarsh Lion for lunch (10 min walk from the river).

Along the way, you'll have plenty of opportunities to take in beautiful views and amazing wildlife.

(customers are advised to park at Bures and use the train to come to us at Sudbury so that you are paddling back to your car).

Min Age: 14 when accompanied by a parent.

All participants must be competent swimmers.

Please dress for the weather. When kayaking remember you will get a wet bottom so avoid cottons which are cold and heavy when wet - synthetic sports wear is best with footwear that you don't mind being wet.
