A mini self-guided adventure on the tranquil upper Stour, leaving from and returning to our Sudbury base.

Our stable and comfortable family size canoes are perfect for beginner / improver paddlers looking to venture onto the water for the first time and for improvers looking to build confidence.

Canoes require two active paddlers and have room in the middle, on the floor, for up to two little ones (in our experience <10 years old).

Following a safety briefing and kit issue, the team will help you into your canoe and having shown you the ropes, send you off on your adventure - explore the river, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife (from ducks and swans to terrapin and perhaps even otter!)

Participating Paddlers must be able to swim at east 50m unaided.

We suggest 'Participating Paddlers' are aged 11+ and 'active'.

Any minors must be accompanied by (and are the responsibility of) a Court Recognized Guardian.

Child Passengers should be supervised at 1:1 ratio.
